Baseball Brags

You all know that I usually only post if a I have a photo I want to share, well today I don't have a photo, but wanted to brag on my son anyway!! For the 2nd year in a row Scott was selected to the All Star baseball team to represent Colleyville during the June tournament season!!! We are so proud of him! Don't worry once the tournament season hits, I'll be posting All Star photos!!! They already have 5 tournaments scheduled for the month of June!!! Scott does live & die for baseball - he actually made 7 outs in the field on Monday, including his 1st double play!!!!

Last weekend (while I was at TMOM Convention) Sarah played in a softball tournament. She caught her first pop fly on Saturday!! She was so excited when she told me about it on the phone - wish I could have been there, but I could hear her excitement!! Her team is still in the tournament so it continues this weekend (if it isn't raining!!)

Brahmas Hockey

This year we finally made it to a Brahmas game, well, make it 4!! We went to our first game on Dec. 31 & the kids loved hockey so much that we have been to 3 more since then!! It has been great family fun & the Bahmas are 4-0 when we've gone, which has added to the excitement. Twice (tonight & the first time we went) they scored 5 goals, which means CHIKN (free chick-fil-a for everyone!) and one game they won in OT.

Scott's Championship Basketball team!!!

Scott's 7U basketball team (the Cavs) were undefeated this whole season. They just won their 7U tournament. The final game went into over time & they won 23-21! It was quite the nailbitting game!

After our tournament, we had a team party - basketball style!! We went to Mama's Pizza & to the TCU basketball game!! TCU went to overtime as well, but we couldn't cheer them on to a big OT victory!

After the musical, we were invited to talk to the cast & get autographs. Sarah & Diana DeGarmo "Dorothy". Diana did an amazing job. Her voice was amazing & the girl can dance & act too!

Oz The Musical - Dress Rehearsal

Our munchkin Sarah will be in the Dallas production at the Majestic Theatre on Sunday, Feb. 8th at 2:00 p.m. and in the Fort Worth production at Will Rogers Auditorium on Friday, February 13th at 7:00 p.m. I'm hoping to figure out how to post video, so stay tuned!Sarah had an AWESOME dress rehearsal!
It's just amazing how Sarah lights and turns it on the moment she steps on a stage!!

The director, Todrick Hall (in the black shirt in the right corner), gives the Munchkins some final pointers. Todrick was really good & patient with all the kids!

Here's Glinda, the Good Witch (blonde), Dorothy (American Idol Runner-Up, Diana DeGarmo - she's wearing the pink top & black bottoms) with Toto the dog & all the munchkins looking on! It's too bad the main characters weren't in costume. The munchkins will have painted jeans to go with their colorful shirts.
